Blue Lagoon 3 is located approximately 20 Km. away from the city center of Vang Vieng and it was naturally created by the streams flowing out of the jungle.
Blue Lagoon 3 is the tourist attraction and sometimes crowded with people swimming trying to cool off the heat. It is the best option that comes across while exploring things to do in Vang Vieng.
It is absolutely heaven with blue and cool water, amazing views that exhilarate your body and mind.
Get to Blue Lagoon 3, Vang Vieng
You could hire motorbike, Tuk-Tuk, mini pick-up or dune buggy vehicle which is popular among Korean tourists to reach the destination, but riding bicycle is not recommended as it takes at least 50 minutes or longer along bumpy, red dirt, rocky roads, we saw many people struggling it is obviously not a good idea.
In our case we took our own car, start from crossing the Nam Song River is done via the toll bridge which is located just as you are exiting out of the main road of Vang Vieng and the toll costs depending on type of vehicle.
Remember to bring a bottle of water and sun protection.
After crossing the bridge just follow the advertisement billboards and direction signs as much as you can. The road is always clearly empty, so you can go as slow as you want surrounded by beautiful scenery.
On arrival you have to pay 10,000 Lao Kip as entrance fee to Blue Lagoon 3, foods and drinks are available at the small restaurant here. Do not forget to bring camera and action camera to capture the best shots.
